About Jennifer Kelton
Jennifer Kelton, the author of Don’t Use My Sweater Like a Towel, is not only a writer and dating expert but also carries the title of humanitarian, environmentalist, artist, accomplished entrepreneur, CEO and athlete.
As a CEO, Jennifer guided her eco-friendly, junior-oriented clothing line, Nomads 1800, to national and international distribution. She oversaw every aspect of the clothing line – from creating the original designs to shipping, billing and efficiently handling and directing a handful of employees and subcontracted workers.
Her company was widely visible and invited to many major skateboard and extreme-sports events, such as the Vas Triple Crown and the X-Games. The clothing line also became private labels to major rock bands such as Phish and The Blues Traveler and held such accounts as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
During the 1990s, Jennifer owned and operated a successful nightclub called Nomads that has helped boost the careers of chart-topping artists. During her time here, she worked with a lot of managers, agents and artists.
But, there’s more to Jennifer than business. As a humanitarian, Jennifer founded a nonprofit organization, Nomads 1800 Inc., which received a proclamation from Mayor Richard Riordan. Nomads 1800 Inc. provides a place for young, aspiring artists of little means to express themselves and reach the community.
As an author, Jennifer spent a full year reading the big boys of relationship books and testing their dating advice. She even performed an interesting test on the effects of pheromones as she tried to unravel the mysteries behind human nature and genetic make-up. Her findings, coupled with vignettes of her own personal life, make up the dating advice book for the 21st Century. Filled with Jennifer’s optimism and stories of her own experiences, you’ll see all there is to dating – the good, the bad and the sometimes messy, just like Jennifer found on her designer sweater after a date.
When not working on her other pursuits, Jennifer can be found hitting the slopes on her snowboard.

What's Don't Use My Sweater Like
a Towel?
Well, it’s about understanding dating
and mating in today’s world. It’s about why men and women
do some of the things we do and the chemicals behind lust and love.
And, it’s about respecting each other.
When you’re looking for dating tips,
you shouldn’t turn to the normal rules you get with the other
dating books. Instead, go to someone who’s willing to put her
theories to the test. Jennifer’s Don’t Use My Sweater
Like a Towel is a compilation of her 30 years of dating experience
and her year-long research into studies, scientific data and surveys.
She assembles it all into the dating advice book for people out in the
dating scene.
Filled with humorous vignettes or Jennifer’s
own life, this book takes an honest – and sometimes raw –
look at dating in 21st Century.
